| In this paper, an e#cient image content representation is proposed, which is appropriate for contentbased indexing and retrieval. In particular, the image content is represented by a hierarchical graph, constructed in a tree or pyramid structure framework. The basic con cept is to represent the spatial relations of the objects in the image with an imagegraph and then, the object details with an objectgraph.
