| Description | The aim of this project was the development of neural network algorithms in conjunction with network architectures for the solving of large-scale computational problems. These algorithms were applied in a multi-processing environment based on transputers, along with assessment of their performance. Results showed that neural networks provide a viable alternative especially in industrial problems, where conventional computational methods have been proved inadequate |
